Snow Ridge is the leading international tea-company based in Taiwan. We use traditional tea-making approach in combination with the new technologies to make high-quality product. The chairman of Snow Ridge is the tea-master who is selected by tea-community as Taiwan's highest expert in tea-production during past 30 years. 董事長陳錦昌
是南投茶葉世家子弟，
民國90年獲得全國十大傑出專業農民
1986年中華民國凍頂評茶師鑑定及格
(技術最高之鑑定唯一及格者)
自曾祖起即種植茶葉，
他是第四代茶農家裡從事茶業長達百年以上，
而子女也都克紹箕裘不僅製茶也經常義務在家鄉各國小培育小小泡茶師，
為台灣茶產業永續傳承。
他因製茶技術優異應邀擔任評審長達33年，
放眼全省有此經歷者無出其右。

一路走來至為艱辛，多年來因製茶不能放過每個步驟，
他養成清晨4.5點才就寢的習慣，為了製出好茶，
早年起每天至少品評20杯以上不同品種的茶樣，
他教導子女也是如此，
他說唯有不斷訓練品評各種不同茶樣才能客觀評鑑，
朋友知道他功力深厚常帶國外茶樣讓他評鑑，
多年來的評鑑經驗，
他強調台灣半球型部份發酵茶也就是俗稱的烏龍茶是舉世第一好茶。

陳錦昌強調，「茶飲」是良心事業，錢可以慢慢賺，唯有健康是花錢買不到。因此要效法古早農民的認命，「食在安全」。「野放」茶園，是不用藥、不施化肥、不灌溉（純靠大自然雨露均霑），也就是復古「看天吃飯」的農耕方式。當然前五年馴化期，正常氣候收成約僅10分之１，若像有一年遇到乾旱天然雨水不足，約只有2０分之一的收成。因此，茶農必須有敢面對挑戰的勇氣。

紫菁靈

花費了20幾年的時間，在自家茶園試種研究歷經無數次嘗試，終於篩選出一款獨步全球的小葉新品種烏龍茶，因它的嫩芽為紫色，並定名紫菁靈，紫菁靈為全球獨一無二的小葉新品種烏龍，竭力尋根探討，使用優越的製茶技術，這款屬於中發酵、且作工複雜的茶工藝品；現行的製茶師因時效性作工繁雜難成，有一定的困難度，所以目前台灣已經沒有人會製做了，製茶過程皆需要用嗅覺去掌控每個階段的發酵度，讓它的香氣呈現極致天然花香，它的特色在於每次所泡出的茶湯，呈現出的花香每次都會不太一樣，而茶湯也滑順好入口不刺激喉韻回甘有層次，特別喝到口中你會體會到茶湯的乾淨度，一種漸層的花香氣慢慢擴散到上顎及鼻腔，這是靠製茶師的思想技術與藝術工藝結合製作出來的紫菁靈工藝烏龍茶。
